西湖龙井茶有1200多年历史，始于唐代，盛于宋代，清代乾隆皇帝封十八棵御茶；从传统手工炒制向标准化、品牌化、数字化发展；2022年3月1日《杭州市西湖龙井茶保护管理条例》施行；西湖龙井国家地理标志产品保护示范区通过验收，荣获国家知识产权局地理标志保护示范区建设典型案例；通过农业农村部龙井茶产业集群等项目，加快发展年销售额超亿元的茶叶龙头企业；累计建立25个西湖龙井茶手工炒制中心，培育手工炒茶技师1105名；从传统名优茶向新茶饮产业链延伸，新茶饮产业链总产值已突破百亿元。
