宁波市宁海县注塑模具产业集群于2023年获批工信部国家级中小企业特色产业集群，是宁波“365”产业体系中的重要产业。宁海模具产业历经60年发展，2002年被命名为“中国模具生产基地”，2006年获中国模具工业协会相关称号。宁海已实现从模钢、模胚、模架、透气钢、锻造、热处理、表面处理直至模具检测、激光修复的全产业链覆盖，围绕模具形成的“模具+”产业（汽配、家电、户外用品、灯具等）具备千亿级规模，是宁海制造业的靓丽名片。宁波模具产业园作为国家小型微型双创基地，搭建了金融服务、技术服务和运营服务三大服务平台。

模具产品供应全国汽车、家电、户外用品等行业，“模具+”产业围绕汽配、家电、户外用品、灯具等领域具备千亿级规模，部分产品出口海外市场；宁海已成功创建文具、模具、照明电器3个国家级外贸转型升级基地。

  • 全县拥有模具专业制造厂家500余家，模具加工企业和模具车间2000多家，模具技工3万多人，从业人员5万人左右，年产模具近4万套

  • 中国模具工业协会划分的10类模具中，宁海能生产8种
